Gossip #1

If Google is no longer the search engine par excellence then what is it?

There are new search engines on the Internet such as Elastic and Solr. Before, if it was not in Google, it was nowhere, but today the same applications have functions that with just swiping a finger or with voice search gives you search results.

Gossip #2

A part of Intel is acquired by Apple

Apple confirmed in a press release that it acquired the modem division for phones. The agreement was reached for $ 1 billion dollars ($ 1 billion) and means that Apple will now own more than 17,000 mobile technology patents.

Gossip #3

The folding mobile will be launched again by Samsung

Samsung will resell its Galaxy Fold mobile phone in September. The Samsung Galaxy Fold will feature an upper protective layer of the Infinity Flex Display (the flexible screen) and extends below the frame so that it does not look like a screen protector. It will also have a series of additional reinforcements for better protection of the device.

If we use WhatsApp without the mobile we will be more connected

WhatsApp is developing a new web version for computers in which it will not be necessary to keep the phone active for it to work in its web version.

According to gossip, the company could be developing a Windows universal platform application for desktops, along with a new multiplatform system that will allow to exchange WhatsApp messages even when the account’s phone associated with the user is turned off.

The technology will be transformed by 5G mobile technology

5G is the next generation of mobile broadband that will eventually replace, or at least increase, the 4G LTE connection. With 5G, you’ll see exponentially faster upload and download speeds.

It will also allow: better quality voice calls, more capacity, reliable and instant communications, mobile broadcasting, smart cities, public safety and infrastructure.

It is expected that by 2020 this technology will operate globally.
